The chargers for those devices generally run on 110VAC to 240VAC. (Confirm by checking the sticker on each charger.) For those you need a simple adapter that converts 2-prong plugs into 2-pin plugs. You can buy them at most dollar stores for $1.
Those are high current devices. You should be able to find converters that step up the voltage at travel stores and even Radio Crap (TSCC.) Some use transformers and are quite heavy. Others use electronics and are much lighter and cheaper. For appliances that use heating elements the latter is adequate as long as it can handle the current (Amps) or wattage (Watts) that your appliances draw.hair straightner, hair dryer
If you're moving back permanently you may be better off to buy new hair appliances when you get there.

where can i buy voltage converter?
hello guys i am travling to my back country and they use round plug with 230/240 voltage not like in north america we are using 110 so i need a converter. the device i will be using there are my cellphone (to charge it), digital camera, movie camera, laptop charger to charge my laptop. hair straightner, hair dryer. so any help can u guys give i am in edmonton , canada. where cna i buy a good affordable converter that can fulfill all the above needs. thanks for all help.
