Where can I find a bench for my front entrance?
I'm looking for a bench for my front door entrance way. Since this area is small i'm looking for something no wider then 30 inches. It seems all the nice benches are 40 inches wide or bigger. Please help!!

I would try BouClair http://www.bouclair.ca/en/furniture/ottoman-2.html
Not sure what style you are looking for but this Faux leather storage bench for $129
is just 32" wide. I know someone who just bought it & they are very happy with it. Plus it opens up for extra storage

I'm open to the style as long as it serves its purpose as a bench (to put on our shoes without having to sit on the cold, dirty floor). If I go bigger than 30 inches it will interfere with the front closet opening and a vent and I’m trying NOT to do that. I do like the idea of having a bench that has storage -- any other places anyone can suggest I look?

Try EQ3, they can custom your benches with storage and also have space underneath it to store your shoes.
I got mine wiht my dining set but it's 42 inches wide, but good storage and a real bench, tall enough to put boots underneath

jysk has benches like this - the seat lifts up for storage - they are unfinished so they can be stained or painted - i recommend wood conditioner before staining
pic is kinda small - but they are about $130-180 range - goes on sale in the $88+ range - comes in 3 sizes

We have a settee from St Jacobs, although it's bigger than your requirement:

Thankfully we didn't get the doily.

found a smaller cheap one at Walmart before, it was only $25 and it was ok. Lighter than cappucino brown cushion, iron legs. Very Wal-Marty, if you will.

I had the same problem, we ended up going to Homes Sense.
We were able to find a little leather stool
similar to this...but a better finished

The only problem with home sense is that not every store holds the same products and once the product is gone..its gone for good usually.

There's an auctioneer in Milton, just west of Mississauga.
