Where can I get basic CPR training that is certified and recognized?

How long does it usually take?

Where are you located?

What level of training do you need? If this is for a job they likely gave you a specific level, likely either Standard First Aid with CPR-C or Emergency First Aid with CPR-B.

You can find a list of CPR and/or First Aid classes through "Find a course" or "Find a program" link in:

Canadian Red Cross
Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario
St John Ambulance
The Lifesaving Society

and then there's a bunch of private companies such as:

ADET Inc
Lifesaver 101
TorontoCPR
VitalCPR
F.A.S.T Rescue

You can actually go to WSIB website to look for a list of approved providers of First Aid and CPR. Most people prefer to go with the big 4 in the first group.

The program was taught at the standard of Heart and Stroke Foundation and/or Toronto EMS. You might as well go find them directly as Seneca tends to mark up the prices.

I was a nerd and a loser when I took my CPR test. I was afraid to grope the chicks boobie.

Other than that, its pretty basic. I took a 2day 8hour session i beleive
