where is the cheapest place to order/buy American Apparel clothing in canada?
title says it all.
some websites in the states order from AA in bulk, and thus they get special discounts. some of them resell them to customers at the lower price.
are there any places that ship to canada?
The california fleece zip-up hoodie goes for $60CAD, but online there is a site that goes for $26USD, but i am not sure if they ship to canada.

I've seen this website posted on the vancouver craigslist:
www.bluefishwish.com
I see your jogger jacket is only $45. Not sure if they're legit though.

1. The site I got the price from gets ships to canada using USPS = no brokerage fees ("We use USPS Global Priority."). I have ordered numerous items from the US, I know what I'm doing. As long as it is shipped via USPS, I have never had any problems with Brokerage. Since its made in the US, under NAFTA = no duties. Only extra fees would be taxes (which i have accounted for).

Feb 3rd, 2006 12:16 PM #13Like I said, do a search.. just because it's shipped USPS doesn't mean you won't get unexpected additional costs when it finally arrives at your door.

Other times I've had things slip right past customs with no additional charges. I can't figure out how they decide which items to pop open and bill and which to ignore.
If it's working for you, keep playing your luck then. Maybe stop into a casino while you've got it too!

Why not order it from the cheap US place and it shipped to one of the mail forwarding places in the US? There is a thread on here somewhere about that. I recall one place in particular does a good job of "rounding down" the value for customs and they re-ship the item to you via USPS so little chance of having to pay brokerage/duty/taxes.
