On the wall where the stairs are. You'll be able to see it from the kitchen island and while cooking.

I assume you have a flatscreen? So hung on that large left wall somewhere is probably best.

I think thats probably the best option, along with a swivel mount if you want to watch from the kitchen/breakfast area

My idea is far out in left field but I would use a 360 swivel mount on the kitchen island.or above on the side close to the front door......

Currently I had to switch living room and dining room because we wanted over of an open concept but now we have a Chandler in front the tv and no light above the dining table.

Ya, I think it would be pretty sweet if OP has a MASSIVE flatscreen so virtually all the rooms can have a viewing angle, kinda.

Ideally I would finish the basement and put it down there...really do it up! Keep the living room a fun friend and family focussed place. In other words, focus on the people you love instead of on some over paid celebrity. Maybe have a small one in the kitchen so you can watch the weather while you drink your morning coffee and eat your bagel with herb and garlic cream cheese.

However, back to the question....bottom left, maybe in a nice cabinet like some hotels.

If it's in bottom left, where will the couch go? Guess couch won't touch the wall.

Anyone wanna take up the challenge of drawing it out? Haha

We didn't bother with a TV in our living room. We put one in the bedroom, and the basement has a projector and 100" screen with a Blu-ray player that makes it a smart TV.

We kept the main floor/living room for conversation, visiting, etc.

I don't think your living room has a great location for a TV.
