Where do you buy your bicycle parts?
I haven't been biking much ever since i moved to toronto, cuz compared to vancouver, toronto really is horrible for mountain biking
anyhow
my friend has "revive" a second hand bike, and he wants to get into biking, so he came to me for help
can someone point me to a nice cheap store to buy parts

I buy my tools at MEC (cheap place for good quality Park tools), and I generally get my parts from bikeroom.com or either the spring or fall bike shows.

parts like shifters, derailures, brakelines, break levers, chains, etc
as for what quality, well, i ride a Kona Nunu, it's an old model, and my friend is getting a used Kona Cindercone, so we're going to have to buy some parts to revive it, they're approximately 800 dollar bikes retail if you haven't heard of them, so as far as quality goes, nothing canadian tire and close to top of the line

One of the best places to bike (and its free too) is here.
Durham Conservation Forest
Its pretty much dead center on that map on highway 7 just south of Goodwood. You can see where there are short roads that seem to go in and stop dead.
There are always loads of people there and I think theres something like 35+K of trails.
