Where do you get your Aftermarket non-OEM Parts?

Looking for parts to mod up my car, I buy parts online from the states and ebay for my bike, but I haven't had much luck finding a place/online that sells non-oem car parts for a good price

if anyone knows a website/shop that sells parts for a good price, please share!

I'm not talking about oem parts, as they are easy to find for cheap at salvage yards or online stores. More like parts that are for ricers and people that like's to bling/pimp their ride.

I was hoping to keep this thread more general, for all makes, but if you guys know anywhere good for BMW in particular, that'd be great! Thanks!

I think for non OEM bling, you need to hit the specific vehicle forums and on line DIY sites.
I used to use Bavarian Outo (www.bavauto.com) for my parts but you seem a internet savvy person, why do you not type in "BMW performance parts" into Google, you get 12,200,000 hits? I suspect that is enough sites to provide you with some of what you are looking for?

Almost 100 % of the "mod" parts (cams, heads, headers, suspension, pretty much everything) I used to buy for my camaros I'd get from the states, but that was in the early 2000's, when the dollar was like 1:2, and it was still MUCH cheaper. Don't know how it is now though. Non oem replacement parts (stock parts), I go through napa/carquest/delco place close to my house/cdn tire, wherever I get the best deal.

I normally either use ebay or a forum sponsor/vendor. I recently picked up some fogs and low beam bulbs from a local performance shop and they were cheaper than ebay and automotivelightingusa.com so i'm going to be giving them some of my business when I look to get some springs.

google's results didn't seem to give me the results that i was looking for. I would think that car parts would have more suppliers than bike parts suppliers since there's more demand. But results that I got from google or online forum sponsors didn't have websites that were up to par to the bike parts suppliers I frequent. So I thought I'd ask RFD as well, since BMW specific forums wasn't very helpful.

OP, if you are asking here then you don't know your car well enough to even start modding it IMO.

You should get familiar with some good forums for your make/model. Learn what is tasteful, and learn what you like best before you end up wrecking your poor car.

It is there where you will EASILY find the best way to get your parts.

Do you want BMW car parts or just motorcycle parts?
Car parts require more engineering and many more sales to recoup the non re-occurring engineering and manufacture costs. Bike parts builders can live off smaller market shares whereas car parts builders need a certain sales threshold to even begin the process. Not a fair comparison.

BMW owners are not Ricers. They are not as interested in the gadgets, the lights, the booming stereos, the stripes, the neon wiper blades. They are performance/handling/ride orientated folks. There really is not too much "bling" for a BMW by your definition of "bling/pimp".
