Warden and Shepard North - East Corner ... they treat you like **** but don't care if you are breaking copy right laws ... in the Basement of the white 3 story building behind the Sunoco Gas Station ... King Copy I think ... ( 30 feet north of Shepard on Warden)
Oh and you feel like punching out the girl b/c she thinks you are a John and she is all pure ... just think about burring the place down ...
1 cent a copy .... and remember to write down the Copier copy count when you start ... ask her to show you where it is .. like a autometer on a car ... You have to do the copying at .01 cents ... and make sure she sets it up as double sided ..
can't miss it giant old fed ex truck parked in the front ... see it using google maps

same location as another guy said, but another store. Right on Warden/Shepphard behind the Sunoco (cant remember which gas station but its on the North/West Corner). (the brown colored business building) Drive all the way to the back of the building you will see another parking lot, its the store all the way at the end with windows all boarded up in RED. Its called "Happy Copy" or something like that. If they already have your book its cheaper to copy and you can haggle

no longer possible at most staples. they now require you to put money or a credit card in advance, before it starts to copy.

Would taking digital snapshots of the entire book do? I have a library book with 250 or so pages and was thinking that photocopying would take so much time. I just plan to take pictures and print all the images at the office.
If I'm using DSLR (a newbie here), what kind of resolution, MP size, file format should I be setting it at for the least size. All I care for is the readability of the final print out.

Sorry for bumping this 1 year old thread but are these places for 1 cent copies still around or did they go bankrupt?
Also if they have school books are they only university books or do they carry other books from schools like Seneca, Humber, George Brown?

Newbie
I don't know.
I brought in pdf files to be printed.
The lady jacked up the price from 2.5 cents to 3 cents a side because I had them on a CD.
Then she continued to charge me a computer fee.
It's still cheap, but I don't appreciate the way she changed the price many times.

I called King copy today and he told me the price is 2c per page if you are copying more than 1000 pages and this is the minimum rate. If you are copying less than 1000 pages then the rate is higher.
Is there any store that is charging 1c per page?
