Where to get nice, but inexpensive suit?
Need to buy a suit, tie, pants combo for my upcoming convocation.
Hoping to find suit which the cost is reasonable (not like dirt cheap, but def. not expensive!), but nice and good quality.
Btw, I'm a 6'3 guy, will that be harder to find a suit that actually fits me?
Suggestion?

It's too bad you couldn't wait a bit - I've seen a lot of stores do Grad's and Dad's specials at the beginning of the summer.
In all honesty your best bet is to shop around, there is almost always some place that has suits on sale. I ended up getting a suit 40% off at the Bay last summer.
Cheapest suits are usually at places like International Clothiers, but you kinda get what you pay for there.

If you're willing to drive to Buffalo, you can get suits at Banana Republic at the outlet for <$200 (on sale though.....which usually it is)
The quality isn't as good as the ones they sell in retail stores, but I've still seen some nice ones there (hoping to go get one myself soon)

since your 6'3 you'll be a Tall size which is very difficult to find at stores that sell suits off the rack like the Bay, Mexx, etc.
my suggestion is to go somewhere like Moores or even Harry Rosen if your willing to spend more

what about shops like Stars Men's Fashion?
I've bought a couple of suits from there and have found them to be great.
They are not that expensive either...I got a nice charcoal suit for around 160...i had to buy a shirt and tie also, so total came to about 230 after taxes.
I know they have a shop in Scarborough Town Centre

I was going to suggest off the rack from the Bay as their sale prices can be quite good, but tall sizes may be hard to come by. Maybe the 'big and tall' stores?

Whats your price range? Inexpensive to some may mean 100, 500, 1500

No, you don't necessarily need Tall sizes, I'd suggest going to stores and actually try them on before you decide to go with a Tall size.
I just got suits from Mexx for $180, pretty good deal, but i don't know if the sales is still on.

I just went to 6-8 men's suits stores with my husband looking for a good suit—not too pricey, but still nice. We found some good deals, but like the poster above said, it really depends on what "inexpensive" means for you—is it $300? $500? Let me know and I'll give you some suggestions.

+1 to Moores
As for big and tall, 6'3" won't be a big deal at all. Big and tall stores are usually more for big than tall.

There is a Big and Tall store in Scarborough - I think they are near Kennedy/Eglinton - but I think they are really pricey.

What about size? Are you 6'3 200lbs or 6'3 300lbs?
Zara or H&M is a decent place to get a suit for regular pricing. They have regular and fitted suits that aren't that bad quality compare to some places.
P.S. If you're getting an off the rack suit, be sure to save a bit of $ to get it altered after you bought the suit. It's pretty rare that a suit would fit right without alteration.

6'3 is not that tall when it comes to suits.
It will also depend on where the height is: at 6'1, I have short legs 31" and a long torso. If the height is in the legs, it will be easier as most pants will be sufficiently long...

Check out the outlet malls - they usually have a nice selection of suits. I saw Hugo Boss suits for 80% off retail (mind you - that is still around $500 plus).
