Where to recycle electronics in the GTA?
I'm aching to get rid of a pile of malfunctional electronic equipment in my basement. Rather than doing what most people do which is toss it in the garbage, is there anyplace that will recycle these for free? instead of me having to wait until Environmental Day which is half a year away?

Toronto will accept all sorts of things for free at their depots for people who want to make the effort. There's a schedule of what depots will accept what kinds of special garbage year round.I've dropped off a couple old pc's before you just hand it to the guy at the depot and it's gone.

shoot! I knew that I saw that drywall was recyclable somewhere! Too late now that we threw it out from our partial renovation.
Will keep in mind for the second half of the renovation.
but too bad I'll have to wait till I go to Markham, to drop off the photocopiers, etc. which I would really rather drop off in Etobicoke since they're so heavy and a big waste of gas to transport.
