pretty fair IMO. requires trust on both sides. OP has personal information of pax and therefore if he is screwed, has recourse, pay after landing. of course, OP should be weary of AC trolls trying to do the deal to extract information from him. some people have encountered the same issue when AP points have been used for others flights. AC then closes the account.
