Some people rather spend a ton just to get better ingredients and one more gram of protein per serving I suppose.

That's correct.
I spend my money on quality. And I didn't realize an extra 5 bucks is a ton of money. Wow. Sorry to hear.
And then there's taste.
Kaizen and GFR from Costco taste like complete s***.
Your comment on the extra gram of protein is contradictory._______________

Hmm kaizen vanilla has quite a subtle taste, in a good way. Then again the last powder I used before that was Muscle Milk, which tasted like a milkshake. I can dump two scoops of kaizen into half a blender bottle full of milk and barely taste much.
My 2 cents (now rounded down to zero cents)

The regular IST whey blend is available at Supplementsource. In Strawberry Banana flavour only though with a year's expiry. (Maybe that's a typo?)
Hope they get the other flavours as well.
Also, Oh Yeah bars at $10 for 12 bars. Good deal but protein content is low and size is small: http://www.supplementsource.ca/Blowo...toffee-45g.htm
