I got a bad experience with vanilla once,
so I don't have the courage to try this one,
I play it safe with the chocolate kaizen.
It's pretty good.

Man I'm still waiting for the unflavored Kaizen to make an appearance.

Truly. Costco has it, but I'm not paying full price for it. Hope it does go on special at some point.

Hmm kaizen vanilla has quite a subtle taste, in a good way. Then again the last powder I used before that was Muscle Milk, which tasted like a milkshake. I can dump two scoops of kaizen into half a blender bottle full of milk and barely taste much.

My 2 cents (now rounded down to zero cents)

The regular IST whey blend is available at Supplementsource. In Strawberry Banana flavour only though with a year's expiry. (Maybe that's a typo?)

Hope they get the other flavours as well.

Also, Oh Yeah bars at $10 for 12 bars. Good deal but protein content is low and size is small: http://www.supplementsource.ca/Blowouts ... ee-45g.htm

If it's the 10lb bag you're talking about, I saw they had chocolate and vanilla as well a couple of days ago. They probably sold out of the other flavors.

Thanks dude. I'll keep an eye out for it.

IST is definitely one of my favorite proteins. Very light flavour and smell.

The lowest it was was $65 with free shipping so this is a good deal.

What's the difference between the standard whey and the Mil-K6?

The vanilla is good, I should have mentioned that. Actually, it's very good.

It was chocolate that tastes disgusting.

General question,

I still have some whey protein from Costco but it expired in 2012/03. Is it still good ? I red somewhere on rfd it could still be good for years after the exp date.

^ It may not taste the same anymore but yes it's still protein. You'd start to lose the protein integrity in possibly another few months to a year and progressively from then on...

What would you guys recommend for a guy just starting out? Doing p90x daily and playing hockey on the weekends?. Preferably something that is cheap (Don't need high end stuff). Thanks in advance.
