Who do you currently bank with?
Who do you currently bank with and why?
I bank with CIBC because that was where I opened my first chequing account.Last edited by omchow; Sep 24th, 2009 at 10:41 AM.

Primary Bank: PC Financial
They provide what I need for no fees and no minimum deposit.
I never had a problem with the customer service for their banking or MC product._______________- Casual Gastronomist | Does It Blog? -

Me too. I really like PCF.
I also bank with Bridgewater Bank for my mortgage - another bank with great service but no chequeing accounts.
My kids' have accounts and RESPs with TD. Hate going in that bank. Customer service sucks if you do anything out of the ordinary - I only have kids' accounts and RESPs you wouldn't think it could get that complicated but apparently it is.

I switched my main banking account a few times in the last two years.
First it was PC Financial, for their no fee account and decent savings rate.
Second, was TD for their Select Service (can't beat the full service).
Third, was CIBC using their LOC (unlimited transaction and B&M bank access).
Fourth, was Citizens for their Chequing (I discovered they had the best international ATM rates).
And now I've settled on HSBC for Premier/DSA/LOC, I'm giving them a second chance and have been very happy so far that I will start to consolidate my accounts. (It helps I have a National Bank ATM right beside my home).

BMO. Used to used TD but was unhappy for a few different reasons. Now I use BMO for all my accounts and my mastercard and so far I am very happy!
One question... should I go into TD to close my chequing account or just leave it?
