Fido: $15 + taxes for 3GB LTE data (not an existing Fido postpaid cellphone customer)

Too bad I was only able to open 1 line....I tried to open another but got shot down by Fido..they limited it to 1 line per customer? Not sure if it was BS they fed me..

Oh and the gravy was scoring the 50% off discount for a full year..

If you are ok with HSPA speeds, the Tbaytel prepaid $125 + taxes for 20gb is pretty sweet too....great SMS packages if you need addons..

Chatr $25 + tax, talk/ text/ data, voice mail. Not the fastest data, but I wouldn't pay $50 extra a month for better, and it's actually gotten much better since the switch to Chatr. This is a grandfathered plan from Mobilicity and they will have to pry it out of my clenched fist before I give it up.

My current Fido plan has 2 portions or 2 SIMs :
1. 3 Gb LTE from Fido $15 a month.
2. Unlimited local calls and 100 SMS , VM, CID.... at $20 a month
And I need to use a dual SIM phone to accommodate the set up
I cannot complain. Even if I do, nobody will listen anyway LOL
For $35 per month. You’re better off with the Public Mobile plan. 12 Gigs unlimited provincial calling, SMS etc for 90 days

Hmm.. that only applies to grandfathered former PB plans. Anyway it is not current.
It costs $150 (3 months) for 9 Gb (3 months) LTE data + unlimited text & local calls
My current plan with Fido is $15 (3 Gb per month ) and ($20) unlimited local calls.

I pay nothing using WiFi calling (fongo) and use WiFi for data.

Close this thread. Hehe.

Public Mobile
12GB LTE
unlimited local
global SMS
90 days
$60

So 4GB for $20/mo.
Wow, that's impressive! How did you achieve that?
Assuming you have autopay, you'd pay $114.
Have you referred (114-60) /3 = 18 people to Public Mobile?

And it does not qualify for a cell-phone plan, because you cannot use it en plein air. ;)

Not necessarily.. :)
In fact, PM also has pretty generous rewards for participating in their community forums...
Unfortunately I'm too lazy and rarely obtain them..
But if you sit there regularly, there is a good chance (combined with referrals) to decrease your bill to ZERO :)
