Who moves deals to Expired?
On what basis are deals moved to expired? Right now this very good deal: http://forums.redflagdeals.com/apple.../#post15014538
is still very much alive. Who moved it? It's not the first time good deals are moved prematurely. And in general, why do you move them to expired? Why don't you leave them die slowly in their initial location, many times good info is in those threads, not only price-wise, and looking for them in Expired is a PITA

Interesting. Last time I checked, it was OOS.

Is the Apple online store supposed to show stock availability based on consumers' postal codes like Staples

Maybe but it doesn't really matter. If a deal has really expired it will be removed by the seller. Just wait until then, don't suppose anything
