Whoose fault would this be at??

I make a ebay account, but didnt want to put my correct information in so put some false information in any ebay account, So i purchase something and Emt this guy and also send email the email to what the address should be sent to! After tha this powerseller ships the item and ships it to my ebay accout address without even confirming it when i emailed him my proper address! And i never received teh item, and my package was sent to soem false address which i made up in my ebay account!

Your fault... b/c your never suppose to use fake information for anything anyways. In some cases yes, but in Ebay it is unappropiate.

ur supposed to include your realadress or at least a rented mailbox to your ebay account .

how do u plan on recovering it . i mean u cant be reporting ti to ebay saying that was never your adress .

Dont take this the wrong way... but I think you are wrong. I dont think you should have put a fake address in your ebay account.

How is the seller supposed to know whether you are a fraud or not. It would be so easy to scam someone if you hack someone's ebay account and then buy something and tell the seller to ship to an alternate address.

Pretty much the seller is a lot safer if s/he only ships to the address associated with the ebay account.

its the sellers fault for not being clairvoyant and not exhausting every possible scenario but the most obvious one before making their shipment.

But i told the seller that i used a fake address it was a new account i made and i told him i put fake address and here is my real address and i EMT the person teh money! Thats pure garbage!

I would only ship to the address registered on ebay or paypal.
I know you are not lying, but then you have to understand the seller has to be cautious and you would do the same thing. Especially if you are dealing with a new eb@y account.

hehe, good question, I think this is a case where he thought he was 'scamming a scammer'. He probably didn't ship but took your money thinking it's not your money anyway.

i would think "uhh.. fake.. info.. ebay..." and make connections and think its fraud

Yah but the person did ship it gave me trackign number but sent it to the ebay accoutn address where i clearly stated i want it shipped to this address of mine! and that person doesnt do it! Just ships the item! And they take soo much delay too telling me i will get monday, then tuesday, then wnesday, then kept going on til li never recieved and went to some one else

you should have correct information in your ebay account
if you are that much worried about online security, then may be ebay is not the place for you

Oh my friend made teh ebay accoutn for me, i told him to put the right information but then he putted some false information, he said he doesnt amtter cause shipper gonna ask you your address confirmting it, and teh 4 shippers before that did and all came sucesfully, except this one!
