What in the world do you use your phone for? dont tell me for 3000 songs for which you keep forwarding 80% of the time. =\

FIFA 12, MC3, real racing 2, gta3,shadow gun and tom tom gps alone take over 7-8 gb of space..gone

Then there is the OS.

Then i have around 600 songs at 320kbps which i actually listen to all on different days. Maybe you are not into music but that doesn't mean others have to follow your lead.

Then there is pictures. I take a lot of pictures on the go. The videos alone start taking up much space.

Then there is documents etc that i copy into the phone regularly for easy reference on the go for stuff.

And so on....

Yeah i do use my phone quite a bit. So much that i rarely use my PC unless i am coding / running arduino stuff/ networking stuff etc. Thinking of picking up a tablet too later this year.

That's when you use a tablet/PC for those "intensive tasks".

especially considering you're watching on a sub-5" screen, there's absolutely no reason you NEED to have HD videos. a decent quality avi looks more than fine on that screen. you've already got a better pixel density on almost any phone than on a big screen HDTV.

Re-encoding sucks..I only want one file type..

I need a min 32 gig pictures, videos and games easily wipe out the first 16 gig. The second 16 is backup.. And I also burn through 6 gigs a month on streaming music and video lol.. (video still too slow and buffers too much on 3G so hopefully LTE will solve that soon)

When I had my gnex I was very conservative with space, with my iPhone it's literally 80% full after the first sync..

I'm trying to decide if a want a white gnex or a droid maxx with the crazy battery life (provided cm9 is available)

I can see a major difference between a video at 720p and 480p. I find the screen more than adequate for watching stuff on the bus and in bed.

And yeah, I already have movies/tv shows at 720p/1080p, so I'm not going to waste hours re-encoding them or downloading a version specifically for my phone

Was there ever evidence of a 32GB GSM Galaxy Nexus? I figured 32GB was just for the Verizon/Sprint LTE version.

I would go with the MAXX.
However since you are a vanilla lover you might not like the skinned OS much. CM9 will probably come for the unlocked version.

Really? That's pretty beastly for a battery.. This Is for all Nexus' and not only for the 32GB right?

Handtec Electronics has February 27th listed as availability date
Negri Electronics tweeted it should be available in 5 to 9 days
And Expansys is saying end of February with shipments starting March 1st


As you can see I've been following the 32GB Nexus quite closely
