Why is Apple education pricing higher than retail?

Apple education pricing for an iPod Touch 8GB is $219.00, but BB and FS are selling them for about $198. Is this normal?

That's because Apple doesn't offer a discount on the iPod touch and FS/BB can discount the product. If you shop around, you might find it even cheaper.

Oh, thanks, I didn't know this. I thought retail stores sold Apple products at MSRP.
