Why did the "Help support RFD?" thread move to Hardware & Software forum?

I needed to sign up for another eBay account and was searching for like half an hour before i finally found the "Help support RFD?" thread for the RFD referral link under the Hardware & Software forum. Why did it move from the Hot Deals forum? I thought it would have more page views there and seems more appropriate for anyone who wants to find it. It should also be on the main page somewhere too but I'm guessing there must have been some reason for it to be taken off.

We tend to move it around every once in a while to help improve it's visibility. I agree that we should have some sort of permanent link to it somewhere though to make it easier to find.
