Her legs moved on their own and sometimes her tail will be wagging

I find this really gross because she's mushing per pee all over the floor and furniture

How the heck did the dog learn to do this?

They all do that. It just natural for them. They're dogs, stop implying human traits on them there is nothing gross about it.

My dog did this all the time, I imagine it's just a comfy way for them to lay down

Oh so she's doing it because the home is too warm?

Yep! It's comfortable because that's the natural movement of the hips for them ...

It's also the body language of a very comfortable and content dog :)

I hope you don't let your dog kiss you because guess where that tongue's been!

I thought that was the ways dogs can quickly cool down their body temp in the summer. It has the least amount of fur on the body and maximizes skin surface area on the cool ground.

Agreed. Over the years we have had many dogs and each and every one of them did it. As a matter of fact our current dog is at my feet in that exact position. They love to stretch out. Doesn't matter if the dog is a male or a female.

I could be wrong, but George (OP) did you not used to have a pup that passed away last year? If so, I would be very surprised if he/she did not do same.

I'm too young to remember much about how the previous dog got trained. This is my "first" true dog
