why do new immigrants expect a management job in Canada?

I often hear of new immigrants from non-English speaking countries who had manager or executive jobs in their home countries come to canada and expect to find a management job here. that's ridiculous.

If you were a manager in China or India, don't expect to immigrate to Canada and think you can manage a westernized workforce. In fact, I would never work for a manager from these countries since they generally don't believe in work-life balance, don't believe in respecting their employees, don't want their employees talking back to them or questioning them, and expect their employees to slave away from them. These are all common traits of a foreign manager.
