Agreed. Society has cut down on so many things kids used to do outside, and then we wonder why kids spend all day inside watching TV and playing video games. Too many towns/cities have banned road hockey, something I would do all day, every day in the warmer months. I would spend 8 hours a day sometimes playing road hockey. There's too many damn rules. We need to get back to letting parents be parents, for better or worse.

Haha I think I've agreed with pretty much every post I've seen from you. Maybe you grew up on my street as a kid. I did the same. 4pm-8pm on Weekdays was almost always road hockey time (minus a quick break to eat)

I love how the Lawyer said they want to sit down and discuss this. Discuss what?? There is nothing to discuss. If certain people are miffed about her drawing on the sidewalk, let them be miffed. Sucks to be them. No one tell me or my child that she could not draw on the sidewalk.

I really hate home owners associations like this. They would get their noses out of joint if someone mowed their lawn in the wrong direction or if you put something in your window as a decoration.

Can I get some literature on that? That doesn't sound plausible. In Toronto I see kids play hockey on the streets still.
