Bought my wife the Dyson earlier this year. I nearly shit my pants when I saw the price, but bought it from their ebay refurb store when there was a sale and paid $300+tax. I must say that it really is good. We have a hair dryer with ionizer that was around $120 (model escapes me at the moment) but that POS was loud and wasn't that hot despite it's claim at 1200 watts. The Dyson literally cut drying times by half if not faster and most importantly a lot quieter and it's virtually vibration free.

wait until dyson has their -100 for the refurb, then wait until they stack it with a discount.

Basically last time it was $399 - $100 = $299

$299 was another 15% off, so essentially it was $254 for the hair dryer
woah, when does this happen? Where do you get extra 15% off too?

ebay deal they had with 15% off...then the $399 dyson had their own deal.. then the math works out.
