Wife wants "Hot Rollers" for her birthday

I get the idea, but have no idea on brand. She went for a weekend away with the girls and came back with big curls. I contacted the one that brought them but she threw them out as the base stopped working.

Any recommendations or what I should look for? I got a kick out the results when I searched for "Hot Rollers" search on Costco.ca , I am sure she wouldn't like one of those :-)

Thanks!

I bought mine in Winners a few weeks ago, which was not well-known brand but fancy and reliable.

Babyliss Pro is absolutely the best kind if she has thick hair. It heats up very well. Conair is okay if she has thin hair
