Wii games - play over the 'net?
Okay, realllllly dumb question....
I have some family who have a Wii and they live "over there". Can I get a Wii and play games with them via the Internet? Mostly thinking party games...
Thanks._______________

Thinking party games? None yet, and I don't think there are for the next little while.
Games that are playable online right now:
Pokemon Wii
Super Mario Strikers
Madden 08*
MySims*
NBA Live 08*
Upcoming games that will use it:
Smash Bros Brawl
Endless Ocean
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3
FIFA 08
Geometry Wars: Galaxies
Ghost Squad
Guitar Hero III
MLB Power Pros
Trauma Center: New Blood

From a "Family" reviewer: "We Cheer teaches coordination, enticement to lust, women being used as sex objects, and team work."
From Worthy Playing: "We Cheer is, then, for all intents and purposes, the F-Zero GX of music games. It asks for so much, yet forgives so little. It is actually so casual that it's hardcore."

I hear Super Mario Strikers is a pretty good experience that's relatively lag-free. Fighters like Super Smash Bros. Brawl might be hard, but if you're just in it for quick casual fun it shouldn't be bad at all. So far only Super Mario Strikers and Pokemon Battle Revolution have online multiplayer modes.
