will a ping pong table fit in a minivan? UPDATE = NOPE, need a pickup truck

anyone have any experience?

about to get one from craigslist..but would love to save my time if it won't fit...dodge caravan...seats pulled out..

UPDATED

it didn't fit in a minivan.
nor did it fit in a uhaul CARGO VAN.

needed a pickup truck to get it home (or a large Uhaul moving truck would have worked as well).

hopefully this will spare some of you some trouble.

Doesn't the craigslist ad detail measurements for the table? Just take a tape measure, spend some time with your van, and see if it fits.

It should fit diagonally without box or anything.

if its regulation sizes and if its two piece then no, i bought one from Costco and it didn't fit. Had to get a buddy with a pickup truck to move it. If its 4 pieces then it will probably fit.

Dodge Caravans have roof racks, and believe it or not they actually are functional. Just take along a clean poly sheet and about 40' of 1/4" polypropylene rope (not bungees.)

i would probably say no....at least not on one trip...

IF it does fit, it will probably fit on a slant...in which you can only fit one piece...one half of the table...

so you'll need to make another trip for the other half...
