Very unlikely. Shoppers is not a tech or gaming store. They are a drug store that carries a very limited spectrum of popular electronics products, and mainly when they can snag a truckload of them dirt-cheap and offer them for sale at a big discount over what other stores are selling the same or similar products for.

There definitely ain't gonna be any PlayStation 4s at discounted pricing ANYWHERE on launch day. The trick will be to get one at allon launch day, and that will only happen at places like FS/BB. SDM will be soooo far down Sony's distribution priority list they may get some stock by Christmas.

Quite likely I think but only like 1-2 per store like the wii U launch, nothing much. I know SDM had wii Us in stock (albeit only basic models) on launch and many stores actually started selling them a day early. Might just be a few locations though. If you want to make sure you get one the best move is still to just reserve one.

Can you use their points to buy the prepaid credit cards or BB GC's? If so then you should do that.

No one could possibly know being no one knows what kind of supply or demand there will be. Is it a wii or a wii u. I sure wouldn't count on getting one launch day/week/month at sdm, even if they have them they'll be gone instantly. If there is a reasonable supply in the marketplace like the wiiu it wont be hard to get one there shortly after

"d mainly when they can snag a truckload of them dirt-cheap and offer them for sale "

No they carry the game systems as regular products with constant restocks

Way too early. We don't know how many will be available. We don't know how popular it will be. We don't know how much it will cost. We don't even know for sure when it will ship - rumour is around October, that is it. Rumours for price are all over the map. Picture will be clearer after E3.

With the way the next gen is looking, why on earth would you want either the PS4 or the XBone?
