If you ain't one of the first to get in, don't bother.
Watch for people taking stuff out of your cart when you are not looking.

Thank goodness for AMEX. Tonight was the slowest i have seen it. Lines to get in can be a few hours long during the regular sale (they have a tent to keep warm/dry). No line up when I got there at 4:30 or at 6 when I went to the car, at 7pm maybe 20 people in line.
Although we preregistered, they never check. Flashing your invitation or AMEX card is enough. Hopefully for those going Sunday it will also be easy.
Found some good gifts as always.

We went today.. There was a two hour wait before we got in the door in the AM (line up to the tent took one hour and then another hour in the tent - however, when inside the tent, it was relatively fast.) There was free coffee to keep everyone warm.
As well, Mr. Bean was playing on the screen to keep you entertained.
This was our first William Ashley Sale and we purchased $400 worth. Ouch!

Yup,
Just came back from the Ashley sale. This was my 5th time going. There was no line up around 7pm,... it was raining but the place was swarming with people. As usual. Anyways, picked up some wine glasses crystal ( Riedel ) set of 4 for $28.99 and some juice/water glasses(Spieglou) set of 6 for $24.99. For those of you who is less familiar with these brands, Riedel is one of the best wine glass makers(german) in the world. And Spieglou happens to be owned by Riedel.
There's a lot of clearance chinas still left. I think they restock daily. Infact, they have as much stuff as the first day I went... November 1st.

Paying for parking is not cool. It should be free.
