Goto environment setting and move your temp directory to d:\temp

Well the computer rebooted, and I see one log file created around 3:24AM this morning and it sits at 483MB. I followed the instructions posted earlier, but it seemed to have come back.

Should I change the C:Windows/Log/CBS to a different slave HDD?

Is that Windows Modules Installer service on Automatic start? Default is Manual.

According to Microsoft, the service "enables installation, modification, and removal of Windows updates and optional components. If this service is disabled, you may not be able to install or uninstall Windows updates."

If you open the log file, you might get some clue as to what's causing all the errors. Could be a windows update that keeps failing for some reason.

OP, if the issue is somehow common in Win 7, have you considered upgrading to Win 10?
