You'll need to port out then port back in. Deal is for new activation only. Not to mention the cost to port out/in is cheaper than the cost to change plans @ Wind anyways.

You can call in customer support and see what they say. It'll be kinda hard to do later and somehow i doubt they'll do it but who knows.

I did. They said they don't see it, but they aren't sure if they're supposed to see it...

I think I'd be calling the store and asking the person that sold it. I hope they put it in writing somewhere.

That's strange. When you activate the sim card for the mobile data plan you ARE activating a new number though. They assign you a new phone number for the account even on mobile data plans. You should be able to do this without a voice plan. The fine print is fine the way it is. I think the staff are just clueless or were purposely trying to upsell you.

EDIT: Nope, called Wind mobile and the rep confirmed that you have to get a phone plan to get the mobile internet at a discount price. Misleading advertising.

This is untrue since I went to the store and got the internet unlimited and the wifi box thing rather than the one person stick for $25 a month no phone contract or anything else. They even WIND tab the $99 wifi box and no money down
