How is reception in Victoria? Also, can I port an existing number over (from Virgin Mobile)?

for $25 plan
- Picture Messaging (20₵/message Canada-wide)
Hrmmm... why doesn't it piggy back off the 100mbs of data?

On the Wish 25 plan is the "unlimited incoming calls" just local or Canada wide incoming calls?

lol thx for the answer, and yes I was worried about those incoming calls from the moon also.wilsonlam97 wrote: ↑Unlimited incoming doesn't care where the call originated from. For all wind cares the call can be from the moon and it's still unlimited.

almost ported the number to mobi today since i wanted the note 2 but instead i just open a new number.
the $29 BTS seems better than the $25 but the $40 look similar.
lets see what mobi is going to have for their holiday plan

It's a deal if it's on RFD

But it is only unlimited incoming if you are on the Wind network, correct? If you are in an 'away' zone this longer is applicable, right?

I'm on the 2010 Holiday Miracle plan. Is Unlimited Wish 40 better?
- Unlimited Wish 40 is eligible for Windtab+, The 2010 HMP was introduced before windtab+, but it probably is also.
- HMP 2010 Unlimited Data includes Blackberry Services, and tethering is "allowed" in the old fair use policy. But nothing prevents tethering on any plan.
- UW40 has Better together Savings.
- Global Saver (meh... long distance cards are same or better).
We have two 2010 HMP plans, so we can save $5 per month by switching. But the switch both over will cost $60 ($30 per account switched). So I won't see the savings for the first year.
Any other reasons for staying on the old plan?

They're very similar. The Global Saver feature is kind of cool, especially when I can't be bothered to go out and buy a LD card and I just end up paying the wind rate. The $500 WindTab is pretty good, expecially for those looking at switching from Prepaid to Postpaid.

Does this plan expire after 1 year (ie does the price jump after 12 months) or is the plan/price valid for the duration your time with Wind?

I have 2 HMP plans as well and got the $5 discount automatically one day. I thought everyone got that as well.

The $40 plan seems to be quite interesting, $25 plan is so so though because of the 100M data. I am on $29 BTS pay before, am wondering if it is worth to switch to post paid $40 wish plan? Too bad, I can't think of a good phone to take advantage of the win tab, note 2 is too expensive while gnex is not worth the money given how cheap nexus 4 is.

I'd be losing US Picture messaging, BIS and $30 cash but I'd switch for $500 off the Note II.bilingualmk wrote: ↑Back to School promotion
