-Unlimited local calling
-unlimited data
-unlimited text messaging

No voice mail

I don't know when they are launching this but this is just a heads up

I just got a Samsung Galaxy 3 phone with wind on a $40 month plan. Had to pay $300 for the phone, and have a windTab of $350 - still not sure how this tab thing works. Any advice on whether I should keep it or wait for a better deal? How is WIND anyway?

Probably because at $40, people would pay extra $20 to get better coverage. They can't charge premium rates with sub par network and selection of phones. Hopefully iPhone5 is AWS enabled, otherwise, they need to become even more attractive!

Send it back, get a cheaper phone. Why would you want to be on the hook for 3 years and $650+taxes? for a PHONE? Grab a Nexus or something, sell it, grab a s3 by itself for cheaper.

With wind I'm not on a contract, sale guy said after 10 month the wind tab will be $0, and all I have to pay is $40 month, I only need it for the GTA. It's my first time dealing with wind, so not sure how their network is. Can the SGH-T999V be used with other carriers? Or should I just switch to rogers or something for $60 month and $150 for the phone?

How can ur tab becomes zero after 10 month, that is like give you 10 months of unlimited everything for free. It is 3 years typically

It depends on the price of the phone. A cheap can easily be paid off within that period.

Trade off both ways. $20 gets them a bigger network and a tiny bucket of minutes and/or limited data.

If he stays with wind for three years, out of pocket expenses for the sg3 is only $299+ tax.

Don't know what to do. Maybe I should bring this back and wait for the $29 month deal? On a side note does anyone know if the SG3 with frequencies at UMTS 850/1900/1700/2100; GSM 850/900/1800/1900 will work on Rogers or Telus?

If you only paid $299 for the wind sg3 your windtab is definetly not clearing to zero in 10 months, more like 3 years. Might want to look into that.
