You might have figured this out already, but in case anyone still wants to know.

D. Option #1 [Transfer $ to another Wind account]

Then it asks you to enter the cell phone # of the account you want to transfer it to, the dollar amount, and to verify...

Are you "Wind pay as you go" customer? It seems "Wind pay as you go" can't transfer out, right? Thanks

Not correct. All WIND Pay Your Way/Monthly Pay Before clients can transfer credit to each other.

Its only Pay After (post paid) clients that cannot.

Thanks !
But I tried to transfer credit from Pay your way account to pay before account, it says : sorry, only pay before customer can be topped up. Any idea? Thanks again!

Perhaps the phone number in question has merged to become a pay after line when originally being a pay before.

I followed the steps mentioned above to transfer PYW credit to my PYW account and had the same response. Anyone tried recently and was successful?

Just called WIND the other day to confirm the new roaming rates for PYW customers.
They confirmed that customers on the 2011 plan (with free incoming) receive these rates, anywhere in Canada or the US.
$0.20/min, $0.15/text, $0.05/MB data
The only difference being in a Home Zone really makes its having the free incoming. Otherwise, all the features are Pay-Per-Use whether in-zone or roaming.

for voicemail, I am actually using freephoneline with wind pay your way as well. But instead of forward the wind number to FPL, I am forwarding my FPL number to my wind number. The trick is to set the forwarding as 'Simutaniously'. With this option, it suppose to ring your FPL phone and forwarding phone at the same time. But since I have no FPL phone registered, only my wind phone will ring. If I didn't pick up the call, it will be forward to my FPL voicemail. With this setting I don't need to pay anything for VM. I only need to give the FPL number to my friends as my cell phone number. The the drawback is I cannot use this number to text.
Could you please let me know this strategy how do I setup.
Thanks

#1. Charge the phone. Put SIM in. Dial *222#

#2. If it fails, dial 1-855-923-3355.
If someone has the walmart sim but didnt activate it yet. Will it work now on the same plan ?

$0.05/mb isn't better than $5 for 50mb add on? Thanks

Do you have a Freephoneline account? If not apply one at freephoneline.ca. Then at their account setting page, the setup is straightforward as I described.

I just topped up my PYW account yesterday and now they deducted $5 for unlimited Wind2Wind calling and another $5 for Unlimited texting for next month. Any one else?
