This is going to sound weird but I found the one's at Foody Mart (Bamburgh Circle) to be actually better than a lot of bakeries. It's the one's in the hot displays in the wall, not the cold one's that are prepacked.

Haven't got any this year as we got sick of them so not sure if they are still the same though.

I never knew that they would have good LPB. I am going to have to pay them a visit..do they sell out fast?

If i go after work, will they still be available?

Any comments for Patisserie Gateau? They have one store at First Markham Place and opened a second store at Centerpoint Mall in 2015

Lucullus Bakery (3 locations) is supposed to be good:

Years ago, I went to Cakewood Bakery (near Bank of Montreal) at Woodside Square to buy good coconut tarts. They probably sell winter melon pastry?????

No clue.

My parents always get them in the morning before we go "tomb sweeping". It's good every time we have had it for the past 5-6 years.

Actually after taking a look.. Fragrant bakery(as mentioned a few times already) is the Scarborough version of Aroma's Markham location.

Hands down Fragrant Bakery at Kennedy and McNicoll. There is almost always a line up and they are often hot straight out of the oven.
They even have one that is low sugar. Yum!!!

Any chinese bakery place should have it. I'm not a super fan so usu just get it at T&T, which is good enough. They apparently have HK and Taiwanese styles (HK is better personally but they're both good).

I just tried Aroma Bakery in the same plaza as Woofles & Cream, so do I not need to try Fragrant Bakery anymore?

I got the 2/$1.80 less sugar ones and also the regular one for $1.20 from Aroma

I like treats and dessert sweet

The "less sugar" tasted the same as regular version to me. So I didn't notice a difference. I liked the item, there was a good strong winter melon flavor for a bakery item. The exterior was not too flaky like an egg tart (I hate the flaky crusts for egg tarts, I much prefer the solid shell for egg tarts), and it held up nicely when you bite into it. It's a good product they have there. I would buy again!

I finally tried the ones from Aroma Bakery.

They are not as sweet as Fragrant but I find them equally good.

Story has it Fragrant and Aroma used to be one business until they decided to split ways ... The Chinese name of their bakeries are quite similar too..

I think the best ones are still the ones from Kam Do in BC. I asked my friend to pick me up a box in Vancouver and devored half a box in one day :)

My parents prefer Fragrant over Aroma and also didn't like Kam Do

They really need to show who downvotes so we can find out the mofus is

The best ones in Canada are from Kam Do Bakery in Richmond BC. Right across from the Richmond-Brighouse skytrain station.
