Hi - I've read about potential conflicts with router/wireless notebooks with 2.4GHz phones. Does the same potential for interference occur with wireless mice? I was going to buy one of the Logitech wireless optical mice for my new notebook but though I should ask this question first...
Thanks in advance for your help...

No, wireless mouse operates at 27 Mhz, not the 2.4 Ghz Wifi band

Yes - that was my concern - I was looking at the Logitech mice that are 2.4 GHz.

Jan 30th, 2006 04:19 PM #5I have a Linksys 802.11g access point on my desktop and a 2.4GHZ multi-line wireless house phone. Back when I had a wireless Microsoft mouse, the reception was perfect.

Upon conducting tests, I found the culprit to be the access point. Previously the wireless access point was 3 feet from my mouse receiver. Now it is 6 feet from the receiver, and all devices work perfectly!_______________

I gave up on wireless keyboards and mice. Waste of batteries !!!! Every few months, the mouse would start acting up, not being precise, turns out, have to replace another 2 AA batteries.
I plugged my USB corded mouse back into the computer, WORKS perfectly !!!
