My pc is connected to the web via a TrendNet wireless pci card, I get 4 of 5 bars signal strenght, when I first connect I have a 11Mbps speed but gradually drops down to 2.0Mbps. what would be causing this......I have great signal strenght!!!!!

First thing I'd try is change the channel.
Switch to one of 1,6 or 11.
Also look for any sources of interference. Cordless phones, microwaves,etc. Reply With Quote

May be your neighbours' network or cordless phones. I have similar problems sometimes, but no interference from my own place.
