Word counter that excludes 1-3 letter words

can anyone recommend a program or a site that counts how many words in a body of text excluding 1-3 words ie "a, as, the, and."

bcuz im pretty sure univ academics dont count "articles" in the # of words for an assignment

Univ academics don't usually count the exact number of words you used. They usually go by 250 words per page (at 12pt font, double-spaced, 1" margins). So when they say they want a 2500 words paper, it means 10 pages. Some profs are also really anal about font, margins, spacing, etc and will dock marks if its not to spec.
