work order and body shop

Towing service tricked and got signatures on work order at the time of accident.

Now the body shop wont release the car and demand $3,000 for breach of contract even though no work is done on the car.

Is there any way to get the car out of the body shop without paying this scam fees?

Insurance already knows about this scam and says its a scam but also adds it cant do anything about it as there are signatures on it.

If the car is drivable, I would break into their compound at night and take my car back with a 2nd set of keys

Tow truck tried pulling this scam on me, tried to get me to sign a blank work order, I put 2 and 2 together and went to insurance and got my car out

It is a scam!

Did you sign this contact yourself?

Did you know that you cannot trust any towing service in the GTA, with the exception of CAA?

Contact the consumer protection office of Ontario.

There might be a law protecting you.
