World Cup 2014

I have a Samsung "Smart" TV hooked up to a PS3, and I'm looking to watch the world cup on either of those devices. Are there any apps which would let me do so?

I know CBC has a live feed but the PS3 won't play it (Flash?) and MyP2P is being really pissy lately with random redirects.

if you have an antenna you can just watch it for free via CBC HD OTA.

I don't. The PS3/Smart TV are the only choices!

Go get an OTA antenna. Or plug in a coaxial and the other end of it, touch the tip to the screw on a light switch. You probably could get CBC from your location doing this. Yes there might be a spark when you do this. :)

Buy a cheap indoor antenna (able to view HD channels). Mount the antenna in the proximity of a window (ideally facing SSW) and run a coax cable (preferably RG6 type) to your "smart" TV antenna input. Scan for OTA channels and you should be able to watch at least 5-6 channels including CBC. This may cost you $25-$30.

Or I can draw an HDMI cable from my laptop to the back of the TV.. but none of that has really answered my question, has it?

Because there isn't an answer, there isn't an app for your PS3 or your TV to play CBC's live feed.
a HDMI cable plugged to a laptop will do the trick beautifully (The CBC stream on a computer is higher quality than on an android or iphone).

Doesn't seem to be a live stream website.
Sports are to be watched live. It's impossible not to see the final scores minutes later :p

These seem to require flash.
OP's problem is that he can't play Flash media, otherwise he could just go on CBC's website stream.

OP needs to make a coat hanger antenna.

I just bought a 12 foot HDMI cable from NCIX.
