Worst Purchases Made?

Even if it was technically free. LOL

I have to go with Huawei's MediaPad T10 that I got free from Fido.

Is this because of Snapdragon 425, the 2GB of RAM? I haven't experienced this poor performance in a device since Samsung Galaxy S4.

I have an old Apple iPad Air 2 that I was going to give away but now I'm thinking I'll give this away instead. I really wanted to like it because of the microSD but this is a PITA to use. I am not patient. LOL

1997 Toyota Camry.

Problem plagued almost from the beginning. Suspension. Brakes. Engine. All within warranty or soon after it ended. Low mileage too.

Neither dealer nor Toyota Canada nor even Toyota Japan showed much interest or made any effort to help. Toyota's arrogance in disbelieving that they could make a lemon made GM of the 1980s and 1990s look humble by comparison.

I've never set foot in a Toyota showroom ever since and never will again as long as I live.

I bought some ridiculous counter top water filter. It was $200 marked down to like $40.

But it was A) an annoyance to use and B) totally unnecessary.

I also bought some garishly ugly Gucci clothing that I never wore - but not sure that was a mistake as I ended up selling it and breaking even.

Refurb DVD player from factory direct. Went through 3 returns, all didn’t work properly

Rubber garden hoses from xscargo. They didn’t have uv stabilizer so they basically rotted away in sunlight

Inkjet printer - one of the first Epson printers with chipped refills

Samsung 840 SSD - TLC firmware was never fixed

Duracell lightning cables - 3 out of 4 stopped working within 2 months. Exchanged for new pack where 1 out of 4 stopped working within 2 weeks. Fortunately got my money back from Costco

$80 pair of shoes from Aldo. I think as a teenaged boy I was overcome by the cuteness of the sales girl. Only problem is, once I got them home and wore them for a few hours, they basically gave me chemical burns with something that was leeching out of the leather and through my socks. They were in the garbage within a week.

For me it's every single consumer router I've ever purchased.
Even worse was my "business" Linksys that was $500.
