Worth buying used Canon T1i?

Being a dated model, would it be worth buying a Canon T1i with 18-55 IS lens for $200? Or should I buy a newer camera like the Nikon D3200 or Canon T2i for around triple this cost?

Triple? Go with the T1i, as far as entry level DSLR goes, they are all the same

Depends how much of a concern price is to you. Newer models like the D3200 has almost twice as good ISO sensitivity so indoor pictures will look significantly better... but whether or not that is worth triple the cost to you is up to you :)

Also I'm not sure if D3200 is $600 anymore.. I'm pretty sure I've seen D3300 for less than $500...

Honestly though if you're going to get the T1i for $200, you might as well look at something like the Sony A3000 or NEX-3N which has been going for ~$300 and is better than the T1i/T2i/T3i/T4i/T5i by a mile

T1i for $200 seems a bit pricey, but that's just me
