Is that after gas? Does it include tips.
Don't forget wear and tear on the car...how many miles out in the car for this $100?

If it includes all expenses, then $20 an hour isn't terrible.

Doesn't make sense to buy a car purposely for these sharing economy schemes.

But it would be ok as supplementary income with an old car you own. The car age requirements for uber eats is a lot lower... or even better... if you do uber eats downtown where its dense and within close proximity... and you usr a bicycle! Zip through traffic, park anywhere.

I'd rather buy stocks. Sit in your PJs and do nothing to gain:

Visa
MasterCard
Costco
Starbucks
Tesla (if you were lucky or brave)

Just to name a few

don't forget to add parking and possibly parking tickets to the expenses.

TIL: My car would not qualify for working as an uber eats driver. Ouch.

Wonder if someone could sign up with their good vehicle then do the actually deliveries with a different vehicle that does not meet the requirements, if they would find out or care.

No gas expense, but the cost of ownership is a lot more than a reasonable priced car.

Not worth it at all. After all the expenses, you end up making below minimum wage, sometimes well below. You're better off getting a min wage part time job somewhere.

How much will the car cost? I would not buy a car for the sole purpose of doing a delivery job.

Your insurance company will not be kind to you when they find out you're using your car for business and not telling them.
Could HAVE, not could OF. What does 'could of' even mean?

Maybe do all your side gig work using a private email like protonmail. This way they have no record of you working for Uber etc.
