Would Jesus vote republican or democrat?

Hey,

So I was listening to some shock jock republican and he mentioned that if jesus were alive today he would vote republican every time. Fellow RFD members, do you think Jesus would vote republican or democrat if he was around today (AND STATE WHY YOU THINK SO). If it makes you feel better, pretend that he was a civic minded individual and he HAD to vote for one or the other.

Rules:

1. Only post whether you think jesus would vote republican or democrat and state why. If you don't believe jesus existed then please base it on what people who believe he existed think about his personality traits, character, etc (wikipedia if necessary).

2. No overly inflammatory remarks. If you have negative things about religion that have nothing to do with the subject matter please don't post it or it will get locked asap. Try to backup your reason with facts and don't insult a fellow poster who doesn't agree with you.

Redflag administrations - please please do not lock this thread as I am very interested in hearing what everyone else thinks about it.

Neither. "God" is the only government for Jesus.

Jesus was an anarchist. Not sure about Jebus though?

Please read the thread. I am asking if he HAD to vote for one or the other which one would he be more likely to vote for. Saying neither adds nothing to the conversation.

Pretty sure Jesus would be campaigning himself.
Thanks for the memories, RFD.

Democrat because they care about the less fortunate and don't pander to peoples religious insecurities as much to get votes

Yea, but you're essentially asking "is banana closer to an apple or an orange, pick one".

Well, he was all about feeding the poor and healing the sick, and he didn't care enough to mention one way or the other about things the republicans are so obsessed with like gay marriage and abortion, so between those two choices I'd have to go with democrat.

Despite your intentions, OP, this thread will not end well. :D
