If you are in a godforsaken place, why stay here?
Coz being a "minority" in my own country (here) where I was born doesn't give me much options to move out. Oops, I guess I'm politically correct..

He just clueless dummy who can't tell Tel Aviv from Baghdad.
Hey Baghdad is the cradle of civilization!!! Hanging Gardens of Babylon. I'd want to visit there before Tel Aviv anyday. What do they have? Falaffels?

jk. I love both!

On a serious note. The math threw me. Please explain to me what the math comes to for a family of 4 with luggage each & if it is at all still cheaper than simply buying a full priced ticket with more allowed luggage? We have a young one, so stroller (is that free or how much$?)

Thank you.

Make sure if you go, you indulge in Knafe from the Hadar in Haifa. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Heaven!

.....******** It appears that Wow is only charging a total of:
$49.99/1 piece of luggage carry on (49.99x2= $100 total)
$75.99/1 piece of luggage checked in ($75.99x2= $152 total)
each way! Instead of each leg (if you pay during booking).

.....

364 113 171.76 $648.76

So is that it? Aren't cheap prices around $650-700 anyway???

Ughhhh. lame.

My mother went few years ago ... She paid much more ... From Winnipeg though .. so probably had to go to Toronto first ...

I think she paid either 1300 - 1500 ... or maybe even 1800 ... lol, i can't remember now already :)

She was in Haifa mostly though

is Israel safe?
It's safer than Europe nowadays ... - France, Belgium, England, Sweden, Spain etc in particular ;)

It is my favourite city. That and Akka (or as it is pronounced in Hebrew) Akko.

Cheapest I just found was $822 for a two week vacay. So 647 Vice 822.34($$$$$USD LOL..ouch., damn you Orbitz!!!). Guess you're saving a fair bit with a family of 4., Mind you that 647 isn't including ANY meals, right? So eat up $100 or $200 for meals for all legs in your math. Heck, that's damn cheap comparatively I guess then. I'm impressed!

EDIT: 08:54am EST: DEAL NOW APPEARS DEAD! Return one way's (TLV-YUL/YYZ) appear to now be pricing out at $349 CDN (instead of $146 CDN)!

Please correct me if I'm wrong! 1st post updated.

You can still fly one way outbound YYZ/YUL to TLV for $200 CDN, taxes included, but the return one way from TLV to YYZ/YUL is now pricing out at $350 :(

THIS IS NOT DEAD! The trick to get these fares is to book the outbound flight on the Canadian site and the return flight on the US site. See below for links and more dates

Here’s the trick to get these fares:
You have to book as two one ways to get the best price (ie YYZ-TLV and then TLV-YYZ)! For the outbound flight from Canada, use wowair.ca to book. For the return flight from Israel, book at wowair.us.
