Wow, a forum upgrade and I didn't lose my...
cookie.
I started a new username everytime the board upgraded since it started because the upgrades killed cookies.

Why would you create a new account because you lost your cookie?

huh? Are you seriously that much an internet newbie?
Cookies (among other things) keep you logged in to an online forum. They don't delete your profile/username hehe.
You can just log back in to the old username??? Did I entirely miss what you were intending to say?

I was impressed with that too. I was expecting that they migt be some changes that would need a new cookie. Now if they can work out some of the delays we'll be cooking with gas.

Ahhhhhhh the slowness is killing me. I feel like I'm on dial-up. It's driving me nuts.

I guess you are the newbie since you weren't around the first few years after the forum got started.
LOL, yes I understand how user accounts work. I would try to log in and I could never remember the password since password retreival was not automated. It would take Derrick three or four days to respond so I would create another account and away I go.
I don't care about post count so keeping the same account never mattered to me.

I'm sure I spelled his name wrong but I'm sure you know who I mean.
Not sure what a PW is?
This site used to be partnered with Goldfishlegs at it's inception.
