LG G5 for $187.4 taxes included or less

Deal Link:
Price:
187.4
Retailer:
WOW Mobile
Looks like Wow Mobile is offering the $200 Mastercard gift cards again for the LG G5 . $50 trade in credit of the old phone can only be deducted off a Small Tab otherwise you have to put it towards accessories at Wow. You may need to stay with Koodo for 90 days to keep gift card and referral although there are reports of Koodo changing the terms of their contract? Anyways the breakdown of it is below.

+$120 (Small Tab)
-$50 trade in credit from an old phone device you own
= $79.1 upfront cost
+$240 + tax= $271 (Small Tab remaining balance with Koodo)
-$200 gift card from WOW mobile
-$25 Referral credit
+$15 x 3 months (On seasonal mode for 3 months) + tax = $51
+$10+tax (Sim card) = 11.3$

Total for the phone with taxes all in = $187.4

*Save another $15-20 by switching your number to an AB number in Koodo Self Serve after you get your phone making the final cost potentially $167.4.

For the hassle of sign up and cancel I'd get the G6 - much better phone.

Much better, but much more expensive. G6 costs $270 vs $120 on small tab, and gift card is $50 vs $200. So your cost is $319.50 more ($506.90 for G6 vs $187.40 for G5). So it depends on your budget if it's worth the price jump.

So I am wondering how this works. It's kind of confusing. Can I just cancel the tab after and the phone will be mine right?

Do they carry the dual sim version, or only single sim?

I'm debating between this or the A5 2017 for the same price. Thoughts?

I'm in BC and will change to AB number to save a bit more as per OP.

What number do I need to put in the refer a friend? The sign up BC number or the AB number?
