WTB: Long Range Cordless Phone

I prefer local only, but if i have to get it shipped, then thats fine, but also, prefer no overseas shipping.

It's not a phone for me, a cousin been asking for it. I believe the way it works is you setup an antenna in the backyard, or an extra large antenna inside, and it works for about 5km, or i think even more?

Ofcourse in a place like canada, it might have alot of interference, so if it says 30km, then its probably going to be significantly less.

He is really interested in getting one, and im trying my best to look. A while ago, there was some on ebay, but now im trying to search for them again, and it seems they dissapeared? Maybe they weren't real and it was a good thing i didn't buy them.

So if any body knows anything about it, please reply or pm with some information. Im honestly, not really even sure if it is for use in Canada, he said something about taking it down with him to Guyana and use it in a place where it is mostly farmland (a massively large farmland).

I told him he would be better off with a cell phone, but he really wants one of these long range cordless phones.
