Its worth $200,000CAD.

He pays $2800/yr for insurance.

Yeah, I think sometimes for certain cars, insurance companies classify it as a collectable or something, and you pay less. I really don't know exactly how it works tho.

My friend has an audi S4 (~80k + taxes I think) and I have an impreza 2.5RS (~22k + taxes). We both pay the same price for insurance

The way they see it: No teenager or clueless driver will buy & drive a S4 and if they do, they'll be careful.
