Sorry if this sounds nieve.. but Ive never heard of these shileds before and Im wondering what they look/feel like.
I have a screen protector on my screen and Im wondering if the material is similar to that but instead this goes around the whole phone?

This kind of stuff is snake oil, and I've never understood why people eat it up for every single little device they buy.
I've said it before... unless you're throwing things around in sandboxes full of broken glass, by the time any appreciable amount of scuffing is obviously apparent on the device that only you will ever see or care about, it will be obsolete and likely be on your list of things to replace anyway.

It is similar to a screen protecter but I find it doesn't get as much dirt on it and sticks to the phone very well. Mine came in a couple different pieces and u just put it on with some soap and water and let dry a bit harder then it sounds but thats the concept. I would say if u like ur phone to stay as mint as possible its worth the money. I took a pen to the screen today and only minor scratched to the sheild it self

Mind you, full body casing for N95-8GB is available on dealextreme for less than $4.
I have ordered it just in case and it is pretty darn good quality too. Backside even has Nokia logo on it like the original. I have the unbranded N95-4 btw and can only compare it to that.

thank you for posting this! I would assume the material/quality is similar if not exact to BSE, which I have used on many products. Keeps everything super shiney even after 2 years.
Only problem with BSE is that their selection is fairly lame, not nearly enough products, but they have awesome customer service. They dont advertise a life time warranty, but if you email them and complain that you had a problem with their product, you'll get another, FREE, and they wont ask you to ship back your other one

For things like phones I do think you are correct, Most phones last about 2-4 years until either you need to replace them due to bad reception or horrible battery life, or there are just better phones out.
However for things like Nintendo DS, PSP, MP3 players, Cameras and to a certain extent Laptops, I think these products are worth the money.
Ive used Bestskinsever.com and Zagg. Both great products as long as the prices are not outrageous. Less than 10 buck or I dont buy.... Except for my PS3 Skin. Still havent put it all on though. So hard to put it on...

1) You'll have to email them directly to get that answer
2) Yes functionality is preserved. I'm sure there's a small degree of decreased response as that is inevitable..but ultimately it's still works fine. There should be slit where the speaker is._______________**~_Classics ForSale BNIB: Nokia n86, Surge QWERTY, LG Chic (Bell), W760a, Galaxy Spica_~**Thx RFD: i7 920 @ 2.67GHz 9Gb DDR3

I read somewhere that the InvisibleShield is highly adhesive, and if your device has an anti-glare coating, it might rip it off when you remove it. Wondering if ProtectYourDevice is similar in this respect.
I use Expert Shield (www.expertshield.com), which claims to be tough and yet easy to remove. It's also cheaper than InvisibleShield.

Nah I disagree, I've used the BSE skin on my SLVR L7 for the last 2 years and its great, keeps it clean, less fingerprints, less scratches, its just nice to have. If you're spending less than 10 bucks, there isnt much to complain about; excuse me if you have to skip a trip to mcdonalds to afford it
